The 38th edition of the National Farmers’ Day celebration was observed by the Akatsi North District Assembly at the Ave Dzalele school park on Friday, 2nd December, 2022 on the theme ”Accelerating Agricultural Development Through Value Addition”
World HIV Day is a day set aside to create awareness and educate people about the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). It is a day to show support to those living with the virus and to remember those who have died from it.
The World HIV Day celebration at Ave Senior High School was a huge success. The event succeeded in creating awareness about HIV and AIDS, reducing stigma and discrimination, and encouraging students and teachers to take action towards the prevention, treatment, and care of the virus.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 inspected the progress of work on the construction of the Akatsi North District Hospital under the Agenda 111 at Ave Dakpa. The President was impressed with the progress of work and expressed his satisfaction with the quality of work being done.
