AKATSI NORTH DISTRICT ASSEMBLY MARKS MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL

The Akatsi North District Assembly, in collaboration with the Akatsi North District Education Directorate, has marked My First Day at School in selected schools across the District.

The exercise, which took place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, was led by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Bless Kwadzo Katamani, together with the District Director of Education, Mr. John Badzi, and management of the Education Directorate.The tour was to formally welcome new entrants, particularly KG 1 pupils, as they begin their formal education journey.

The team interacted with the pupils and presented them with educational materials, biscuits and drinks to make their first day memorable.The delegation also interacted with continuing students and teachers, observed teaching and learning activities, and encouraged pupils to take their studies seriously.

The DCE commended teachers for their dedication and commitment to shaping the future of children in the District. The Akatsi North District Assembly remains committed to collaborating with the Ghana Education Service and all stakeholders to improve the quality of education and create a conducive learning environment for every child.The future of Akatsi North truly begins in the classroom.
